How to access the Island camp
The easiest way to access the camp is by flight. Take a domestic flight from Arusha, Serengeti, Dar es Salaam and Kigali to Rubondo airstrip on Rubondo Island, and from there, it’s a short drive of about 20 minutes to the camp.
Note that the camp is always closed in the months of April and May. This is during the long rains wet season. The best time to be at the Island is during the dry season of June to October.
